SSGT. Carl O. Arnold, III

SSGT. Carl O. Arnold III, 66, of Lakeland, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Brenda Carol Cordon Arnold, 6 children Glenn Arnold, Kymberlye Ruleman (Dan), Heather Sarfi (Attila), Jason Arnold (Melissa), Timothy Arnold (Lori), and Jessica Badgett (Jon), 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a sister Bonnie Anderson (Mark). Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, Carl O Arnold, Jr., and Betty Fair Arnold. Mr. Arnold served for 13 years between the Air Force and the Tennessee Army National Guard. He was also a Boy Scout leader for Troop 204 and 61, a current member at Kirby Woods Baptist Church and a member of the Hard Case Boys Living History Association and active member of the Memphis Men of Harmony. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, January 8 from 6-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. There will be a funeral on Thursday also at the funeral home at 10am. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Memphis Men of Harmony, 1000 S.
