Beverly J McDaniel, age 70, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Beverly was born April 4, 1951 to Lola Edwards and Curtis Edwards. Ms. Beverly was a member of Colonial Baptist Church for many years. Beverly spent her career working at Non-Profit organizations such as ALSAC St. Jude and, was currently employed at Youth Villages as a Mentor. The mentoring program became near and dear to Ms. Beverly's heart.
She was preceded in death by her father Curtis Edwards and her mother Lola Edwards; her sister Pamela Edwards and her brother Larry Edwards.
Beverly is survived by her daughter Angie Sheffield (Guy); her daughter Christy McDaniel; and her son Michael McDaniel; her brother Donnie Edwards; her grandchild Kailey Sheffield, her grandchild Joshua Sheffield, her grandchild Caleb McDaniel and her grandchild Jack McDaniel.
She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Beverly will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions in Beverly's memory may be made to Youth Villages, 3320 Brother Blvd., Memphis, Tennessee US.
