Beverly Jean Crowe, age 88, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Beverly was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Mamaw was a woman of quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering devotion to her family. She and her husband, Hal, spent many years serving and worshiping at Crestview Christian Church and Park Village Christian Church. Their shared faith was not just something they spoke about—it was something they lived, day in and day out, in their kindness, their generosity, and the way they treated others.
Mamaw had a gentle way about her, but make no mistake—she had a fierce love for her family. She was always there with a listening ear and an open heart. She also had a special place in her heart for her animals. Whether it was Belle, her sweet dog, or Dixie, her beloved cat, Mamaw cared for them with the same devotion she gave to the people in her life. In many ways, they were part of the family too.
Today, as we lay her to rest, we do so with sorrow, but also with peace—knowing that her legacy lives on in each of us in the faith she passed down, in the stories we’ll keep telling, in the values she instilled.
She leaves behind her children Haldane Crowe (Dawn), Kevin Crowe (Wanda), and Christie Bradford (Steve) along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Beverly will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and graveside services will be from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM all at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133.
We’ll miss her deeply. But we are so grateful to have known her, to have been loved by her, and to carry her memory forward.
