She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Keen; her parents, Hattie Loyd and James B. Rogers; and her brother Bill Rogers Sr. She is survived by her son, James Keen (Pat); grandson, Jason Keen (Patty); great grandchildren, Lucas and Lily Grace Keen; her sister, Judy Rogers Sharp; and many nieces and nephews.
Betty worked at Sears Roebuck Crosstown for 30+ years. Over the years she was an active member of Hollywood Baptist, Frayser Baptist, and Broadmoor Baptist (now Waypoint Baptist). She served in leadership in Bible Study Fellowship. She loved her family, walking daily around her neighborhood, and gardening.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to Waypoint Baptist Church in Bartlett, TN.
The service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN. There will be no visitation and the burial will be private.
