“Grandma Bush” was loved by many and everyone who met her viewed her as their very own. She adored her family and truly lived for her grandkids and great grandkids. She was a “grandma” to those beyond her bloodline - from neighborhood children to church friends, everyone loved their “Bush”. Barbara built her career at Kmart where she was a devoted employee for almost 30 years. Grandma Bush never missed an opportunity to love on others, whether it was slipping kids a ten dollar bill or sneaking them Starburst candy, she loved to give.
Her happiest times were when the house was full of kids, family, and friends. She loved Bama football games and always looked forward to Saturdays where she could cheer on the Tide. Grandma Bush especially loved joining her family on Sundays where she faithfully worshiped the Lord throughout her lifetime. She had a loving spirit and never missed a chance to tell you how much she loved you. With a quiet demeanor, she could light up a room with her sweet smile and truly saw the best in everyone. Bush never gave up on a soul and because of this, she made an impact on so many lives.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ollie Mitchell; She is survived by her daughter Beverly Turbett (Keith) and son Chuck Bush (Linda) and former daughter in law Teresa Bush; granddaughters Brandy Weaver (Mickey), Jennifer Stewart (Brock), and Ashley Tinker (Andrew), and grandson Paul Bush (Christina); great grandchildren Kyle, Joseph, and Jonathan Weaver; Rylee and Aubree Stewart; Jayden and Jaxon Bush; Elliot and Ollie Tinker; as well as honorary grandchildren Michael and Sam Montgomery.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, LORD, even as we put our hope in you. Psalms 33:20-22
