The Jaramillo family "End of an Era." Born in Socorro, New Mexico. Moved to Barstow in 1946. Pita was blessed with 7 children: Andrew J. & Angelina Jaramillo, Naydean Williams & Steve, Paulette & Tommy Purdy, Geraldine & Eddie Simko, Mary Ruth & Alfredo Arguelles, Lupe & Mark Mauldin, and Anthony J. Jaramillo, along with 23 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Andrew N. Jaramillo, grandsons Andrew Joseph Jaramillo and Dillon Jaramillo. She was our guardian angel, strong, confident, and independent. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Pita wrote, "All in all our family is quite large. They have a lot of love in their hearts. Love is the key word. Starting with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and our guardian angels, and saints that help us." Services will be held on April 6, 2016 at St. Joseph Church, 8:30 viewing; 9:00 rosary; 10:00 mass. Interment immediately following and reception at Noonan Hall. .
