Justin Anthony Powell

Justin Powell passed away on July 09 2024 at the age of 34. Born on November 26 1989, he was known for the passion he loved for his Country, GOD, Family and his good looks]. Justin touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

To describe Justin’s life in only a few paragraphs would be an impossible task – but one we’re still willing to try. Justin was born to David Todd Powell Sr. and Rosemary Renteria in Barstow, California on the bright and sunny day of November /26/1989. Justin’s favorite hobbies as a child were, dressing up in military clothes, painting a warface, playing with his soldiers, riding dirtbikes, fishing, judo and hanging out with his family and friends. Justin was known as a jokester who loved to play pranks on his siblings and friends.

After graduating high school, Justin went on to enlist with the ARMY and served 10/19/2010 until 03/05/2013 which included 1 tour to afghanistan.

Justin is survived by His father David Todd Powell Sr of Georgia, Sister Loretta Leff of California. Sister Yvonne Denezzo of Florida. Pepaw Harold Hose of Georgia. Nephews Gabriel Luna, Manuel Luna, and Tobias Luna of Barstow, Ca. Aunt Heather Webb Georgia. Uncle Troy Powell Georgia

Justin is preceded in Eternal life with His mother Rosemary Renteria, Brother’s David Todd Powell Jr. , Manuel Cadena Renteria of Barstow, Ca. Justin's life was characterized by the love for his Country, Family, watching his nephews with sports, riding dirt bikes and the love he has for God. Justin will be remembered for his wit, his smile, his all around passion he had for the very things and people he loved…

A memorial service for Justin will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Knights Of Columbus, 580 Victor ave, Barstow, CA 92311.

Justin will be laid to rest, August 12, 2024 1:30 pm at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518, Riverside, CA 92518.
