Gilroy Herman Cordova

Gilroy Herman Cordova of Barstow, California, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023 in Barstow, California at the age of 67.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman (ET) Cordova and Carmen Baca Cordova. He is survived by his children; Bianca Yvette Cordova-Cameron and Arthur Cordova Perez. He has three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also missing his smile are his siblings; David Cordova, Barney Cordova and wife Jamie, Lorella Garcia and late husband Oscar, Clifford Cordova and wife Bertha, and Jerry Cordova and wife Angela. Gilroy leaves many nephews and nieces that he loved dearly.

Gilroy worked in various positions as automotive mechanic at several jobs, including the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, and automotive retailers. He enjoyed collecting and working on classic cars and motorcycles. Gilroy had a great sense of humor and enjoyed joking with everyone, spending time with family and friends and was a food lover, especially sweets and his favorite, Del Taco and Fosters Freeze.

Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Barstow, CA, on October 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
