Born and raised by Jenny Hernandez and Rueben Lara Sr, Albert was the second eldest of six siblings. Barstow was home to him his entire life, from there Albert would become A navy veteran and retired civilian from the marine base. Following retirement, Albert would later work for Pinkerton and be apart of various satellite launch missions through his security work.
He encountered many adventures throughout his life, his most adored being a father, husband, and grandfather. Albert and his wife Vicky enjoyed a 23-year marriage with the excitement of three children, Albert Jr., Mark, and Clarissa. Vicky would succumb to cancer in 1991 and over the next 33 years Albert and the children would reconfigure their nucleus as a family. From this perseverance, the family grew to include his 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and his companion Kathy.
Albert is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Reuben, sister Genevieve, and grandson Mario. He is survived by his three children, Kathy, grand and great-grandchildren, and his fur babies Paco and Bea.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 23rd at Mead’s Mortuary at 2:00 pm
