March 29, 2016. After a long courageous battle with cancer he passed away at the age of 80 years. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 59 years; Myrna, daughters; Gwen (Leonard) Bakos, Pam (Ron) Govenlock, son; Calvin, granddaughter; Cassandra Bakos, grandsons; Trent Bakos, Justin & Ryan Govenlock, sister; Alice Loney, brothers; Art, Ernie, Paul, Carl & Wilf. He was predeceased by his parents; Chris & Nellie Christman, his youngest brother; Herb, mother in law; Daisy Caney, step father in law; Les Caney and his father in law; Gerald McCormick.
At Richards request no service will be held and cremation has taken place.
