October 22, 1924 – March 1, 2010

In loving memory of Lawrence Williams of Fort Assiniboine, who passed away on March 1, 2010 at the age of 85 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years, Doreen; their 4 children, Donna (Bernie) Nelson, Carol (Dave) Kluin, Kevin Williams, Ivan (Jeanette) Williams; 13 grandchildren, Sheila (Matthew) Pederson, Jessica (Joe) Franks, Sheralea Nelson, Curtis Kluin, Danny Williams (Jenni), Jenna (Kevin) Hillmer, Heather Nelson (Danny), Dustin Williams, Jamie Williams, Devin Williams (Karie), Ashley Williams (Zach), Joshua Kluin, and Dausen Kluin; 8 great grandchildren, Dylan and Sarah Franks, Riley and Jewell Pederson, Jaydan Williams, Kaylea, Ashlyn, and Kort Hillmer;1 brother, Floyd Williams and 1 sister-in-law, Mary Williams; 5 nieces, Beverly Smith (Len), Lorna (Greg) Gramlich, Maureen (Lynn) Fleming, Peggy (Ken) Rigby-Jones and Patricia (Eric) Smith; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mary Williams; his brother, Steve; sister-in-law, Grace Williams; and in-laws, Eric and Ella Stauffer. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 12, 2010 @ 1:00 pm at the Fort Assiniboine Legion Hall with Reverend David Pype officiating. Donations gratefully accepted to the Fort Assiniboine Public Library or a Charity of Choice. Lunch will be served at the Legion Hall following the service.
