Kenneth Anderson

Mr. Kenneth Oscar Anderson, late of Barrhead, AB, passed away on March 29, 2012 at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving family; wife of 49 years, Hennie; four children, Shirley (Tim) Lundle, Marg (Arnie) Sapkos, Rosie MacDonald (Dawson), and Charlene (Jason) Akerstrom; fourteen grandchildren, Steven, Stacey, Matthew, Meagan, Jenna-Mae, David, Kendra, Morgan, Amanda, Myranda, Britani, Michael, Reece, and Katelyn; two sisters, Svea Reed and Joan (Ken) Reed; as well as numerous other family and many dear friends. Kenneth is predeceased by his parents, Charles Oscar and Hilda May Anderson; siblings, Ardelle, Earl, Ethel, and Arvid; one grandson, Ian. A visitation was held on Tuesday, April 3 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:30 pm at the Barrhead Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Dan Meinema officiating. A private family graveside interment was held at the Glenreagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kenneth are accepted to a Charity of One’s Choice.
