Blaine Joseph Lesko

Blaine Joseph Lesko of Cherhill, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Barrhead hospital. Blaine was born February 24, 1950. He was the 3rd of eleven children born to Geza and Evelyn Lesko. Blaine is survived by his son, Blaine (Amanda) Lesko, and Daughter, Elona (John) Vanderwolf; grandchildren, Sean Lesko, Cathleen Lesko, Samantha Vanderwolf, and Ceili Lesko; siblings, Geza Lesko, Connie (Larry) Suter, Helen (John) Steeves, Eugene (Monique) Lesko, Todd (Kathy) Lesko, James (Twyla) Lesko, Violet Chvojka, Tory (Glen) Davies, Pauline (Ian) Johner, brothers in law, Lloyd Sutherland, Norm Ion, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Blaine was predeceased by his parents, Geza and Evelyn Lesko, his brothers, Valentine and Barry, his sisters, Lynne Sutherland and Jane Ion, and his beloved grandson, Benny Vanderwolf. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Blaine's honour to the Friends of the Eastern Slopes Association.
