Sherry Lynn Smith

Mrs. Sherry Lynn (Partin) Smith age 60 of Barbourville departed this life on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at her home. She was the daughter of Murrell Partin and Mary Lavina (Davis) Partin, born to them on March 21, 1956 in Pineville, KY. She was a member of the Artemus Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Murrell and Mary Partin, one brother, Michael Partin and two sisters, Belva Lake and Nikki Donaldson.

Left behind to mourn her passing, her son, Chris Davis and wife Gwen of Beaver Dam, KY and her daughter, Gloria Golden and husband Troy of Trosper, KY, her friend, Terry Robinson of Barbourville, her four grandchildren, Natasha & Christina Golden and Tiara and Ethan Davis, four great grandchildren, Madalynn Gray, Elijah and Noah Lake, and Adrianna McIntyre, five nieces and nephews, Billy and David Lake, Anthony Dillon, Brandy Blankenship and Laurel Partin. She also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sherry Smith will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rick Partin officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. She will be laid to rest in the Burch Alford Cemetery at Trosper. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
