Alva Williams

Mr. Alva Williams, age 68, of Gray, KY, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013, in the Knox County Hospital. He was the husband of Karen Williams, and the son of the late Henry and Anna Dee (Partin) Williams, born to them on August 11, 1944, in Pineville, KY. Mr. Williams was also preceded in death by one infant daughter, Marjorie Chevelle Williams, two brothers, Ed and Chester, and six sisters, Mabelline, Shirley, Dorothy, Arlene, Dora Jean and Audrey. He was a member of the Parkway Church of God, at Corbin, KY.

Survivors of Mr. Williams include his wife, Karen Williams, Gray, KY, one daughter, Pamela Kay North, and husband Roger, Gray, KY, one son, Allen Scott Williams, of Michigan, one grandchild, Rebecca Dobbs, five brothers, Wendell Williams and wife Pam, Barbourville, KY, Claiborne Williams, Gray, KY, Bill Woodson Williams, Barbourville, KY, Henry Williams, Jr. and George Williams and wife Ruby of Michigan, two sisters, Betty Jo Reynolds and Tincy Kendall, one special niece, Beth “Beff” Woods, and many other nieces and nephews to mourn his passing.

A memorial service for Mr. Alva Williams will be announced at a later date.
