Penny Elise Olson

Friday May 28, 2021. She was a beloved daughter of

George and Mary Olson, sister of Pat Olson Buchholz and brother Eddie

Olson, a most wonderful aunt to Larry and Daniel Buchholz. Penny was

blessed to have many friends, especially her dear friends Paula Perkins

and Rich Odem. From the time that she was very young, Penny was always

reading any and every type of book. This led to her becoming an

educator, then becoming a very experienced librarian in Baltimore. She

was exceptional in the dedication to her job and the knowledge she

shared with others.This truly was her passion, and her love of books and

reading was shared with all. Many friends were gifted with boxes of

carefully selected books, to be shared with others when you were

finished, of course.Penny had a gentle heart of gold and will be missed

by so very many people.She also had great love for and respect for all

animals great and small., and a caring kind neighbor has taken in her

furry companion Miss Kitty. Penny enjoyed many interesting vacations

across this wonderful land. The entire Olson family traveled extensively

and lived in Pakistan for some time. Penny was, last but not least, an

avid gardener who delighted in the vivid beauty of all flowers and

trees. Penny is preceded in death by her parents George and Mary Olson

and brother George Olson Jr.(Eddie). Penny will rest with family at

Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, Florida. Close family and friends

will gather privately in Florida. Everyday shared moments are the most

lasting and meaningful. Although we will miss her tremendously, we will

never be without her. Penny will remain forever in our hearts.
