Groomes (nee Calvert); and beloved son of the late Willard and Freda Groomes; devoted father of Steven Shaeffer, Sandra Brawner, Leonard Groomes Jr., Rick Shaeffer, Theresa Brown, Kimberly Carney, and Tony Groomes; loving grandfather of Angela Shaeffer, Matthew Shaeffer, Amber Thomas, Chad Schultz, Gregory Shaeffer, Jenna Brawner, Leigh Ann Thomas, Zachary Brown, and Jeremy Groomes; great-grandfather of Chassity Thomas; brother of Beverly Mulcahy, Willard Groomes, Jo-Ann LeCates and the late Sharon Fisher.
