On August 7, 2016 John Elias Mooney went to be with the Lord. He is a devoted husband of 55 years to Claire A. Mooney (nee Prendergast); dear father of John “Jay” Mooney and his wife Holly, Duane “Scott” Mooney and his wife Elena; cherished grandfather of Grace Mooney, Sarah Mooney, Rebekah Mooney, Emilie Mooney, Valerie Mooney; dear brother of Robert J. Mooney and predeceased by 6 siblings; brother in law of Bonnie Lou Mooney.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home, Inc. 3631 Falls Road Baltimore, MD 21211 on Thursday from 7-9 P.M. and on Saturday from 10:30am to 12 noon. A Celebration of Life Service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday at 12noon. Interment in the Maryland Veterans’ Cemetery at Garrison Forest at a later date.
