Aunt Joan
You were always there for everyone. My memories will always be in my heart. Always made it a point to visit when I was in Baltimore. I know you will have a great new life with God. What a grand reception Uncle joe, Elva, Joyce, June, Shirley, Connie, etc. My prayers for all of the family in their time of need.

Dear Jacobs Family,

My parents, Thelma and Vernon Kropf, lived directly across the street from  your family in Medfield for almost 40 years.  Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs were great, caring neighbors.   My Dad always commented on what wonderful parents they were to their children.  He spoke of how they were a great example of involved parents who were active in their children's lives.

Mrs. Jacobs always asked about my mother during her long illness.  She visited with her several times when my Dad needed to go to his own doctor appointments.  This was very kind and we told your Mom how much we appreciated her help.

I visited your Mom when I advised her that my Dad passed away.  She was very sweet and nice.  This meant a great deal to me.

I know you have many fond memories and trust that they will give you comfort.

"Rest in Peace Dear Joan"-I grew up on Keswick Road and Remington with Joan and Joe.  Our families were very close and I spent a lot of time with her brothers at their home and they at mine. I will always remember those days. Joan was a hard worker and great mother. I will miss my dear friend.

Mom you were the glue that held the family together. When we were young we never knew we were poor. The stories that came later about the trials and tribulation amazed us. The Christmas's when you didn't know how you and dad were going to provide gifts. The ingenuity it took to find away to get six of us all through Catholic school. The way you defended us when you thought the teachers were too rough, marching up there and raising holy hell. You were alway there ready to do battle to defend us. Piling seven or eight of us into the car to go to Rocky Point beach! 
I'll never forget the good times we had when you and dad could finally afford to buy a house and we moved to Medfield the week before Christmas in 1970. You were also a wonderful hostess to our friends during those years the Christmas open house parties, football and baseball teams. You were like a mother to all our friends.
The marriages, wives, grandkids coming and going. As the family grew you never wavered. You provided advise even when none was solicited. Gave all of yourself and your resources, fed, cleaned up, and cleaned some more. Taking care of your eight siblings that you a outlasted. Helping neighbors and friends when needed. Always busy to the end alway ready to provide, alway impressive, always a mother to the end. Thank you, love you, miss you, rest, renew your soul in the Lord! Peace dear lady peace+.

Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. It is so hard to lose a parent.
