I only wish that this wouldn't have happened to Nena, and the fight that she went through has affected the hearts of so many loved ones. Me and my mom both knew that she loved us, and that she was going to continue her journey into another life. I will always love you Nena, and your in my heart forever.

I know I couldn't be home during this time and to see her in person one last time because of school, but Jo Ann (or Nena, as my brother and I would call her) was really a wonderful person and grandmother. It's sad, but I know that she is in a much better place now after fighting for so long. RIP Nena, I love and will miss you greatly.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom.  Being a neighbor a few houses down, I will always remember the fun times at Halloween when your parents would get all dressed up and decorate the house so "scary" for all the Trick or Treaters.  Your Dad scared my Mom to death on several occassions :)  I have some great memories of those times.
