Sandra Jane Pittman

Sandra (Sandy) Jane Pittman was born on February 17, 1959 to Thomas E. Kerley and Ginger A. Cnavan in Long Beach, California. She passed away February 18, 2012 in Bakersfield, California. A long time lover of the water she had even owned several boats, and a vessel assist business in San Pedro, California. She was a strong and independent woman who had recently overcome being paralyzed. Over the years she has worn many hats, but the one she was most well known for was as a bartender at Vinnie’s. Her heart was filled with love for her son and grandson. She is survived by her son Shaun Pittman of Redondo Beach, California, and grandson Johnny Pittman of San Pedro, California. She is additionally survived by her father Thomas E. Kerley, stepmother Debra S. Kerley, sister Deborah (Rick) Corbeil, stepsister Anna (Ernie) Degastonuay, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Ginger A. Canavan. She will be missed by many and was loved dearly. Services will be held at Mish Funeral Home, Friday February 24th with Funeral services at 2:00 pm a visitation from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
