Randi entered the gates of Heaven on January 28th, 2022, after she took her last breath in the UCSF Medical Center surrounded by family and friends who loved her deeply.
Randi was a fighter in every aspect of her life. Randi was a two-time acute myeloid leukemia (AML) survivor after she was diagnosed in 2009. She then battled graft versus host disease for over 11 years after her bone marrow transplant in 2010.
Randi was born on July 4th, 1975, in Bakersfield, California. She grew up in Bakersfield and graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1993. It was there that she met her high school sweetheart, Jason Patterson, at 14 and 15 years old. They got married in May 1995 and had two children Bailie (24) and Alex (19).
Randi loved to read, scrapbook, hike, go camping, and listen to music. She loved spending time with family above all things.
Randi is survived by her daughter Bailie, son Alex, her loving husband Jason, father Mark Seitz, mother Rhonda Hiler, and step-mother Sandy Seitz. She was the eldest sister of 5 younger siblings. She left behind her sisters Robbi, Jessica, and Rayli, and her brother Ryan. She is also survived by her 6 nieces and 8 nephews. She left behind many loving cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Randi is preceded in death by her grandmothers Twila, Earlene, and Muriel, and her grandfathers Vince, Carson, and Hank. Her aunt Vickee. And her beloved baby brother Daniel.
She is now at peace and will no longer suffer. Until we meet again mama! You will be missed immensely and your love and memories will never fade.
