James Allen Peladeau, Aka: “Dad, Honey, Wildman and Paw” of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts and Bakersfield, California, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at his home in Bakersfield California. He was born on November 15, 1946 in Minot, North Dakota to Carl J. and Lorena K. Peladeau.
James grew up in Lowell Massachusetts, where he attended St. Josephs Catholic School and later Lowell High School graduating in 1966. After high school he enlisted in the Marine Corp Reserves. He worked as an Electrician throughout his working career.
James adventurous side kicked in and he migrated west to California in 1968. He was an explorer by nature; He loved the desert and enjoyed taking the back roads to see what he could see. He had a love of “Harley” motorcycles, old cars and drag races. James held his friendships very close, If James liked you, you were friends for life! He had friends of every walk of life, both young and old; he was a role model and confidante for many and held secrets to his grave.
James is survived by his wife Sherry Peladeau of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts and Bakersfield, California; His daughters; Lorena Parada and son- in- law Mario Navares of Norco, Ca., Bonnie Grady of Bakersfield, Ca. Grandchildren; Daniel, Demetri (DJ), Levina Parada and Arielle Navares of Norco, California., Nicole and Klint Des Laurier, Tyler and Bailey Grady, 3 Great-Grand-Daughters and 5 Great-Grandsons of Bakersfield, California. Nephews, many cousins, many friends, his “Pups”, and faithful companion Buddy Holly.
James is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Lorena Peladeau, Sister Brenna, and son James Peladeau.
A Celebration of life will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary
