Edith was born on November 7, 1938, in Hillsboro, Texas to Clyde and Lillie Mae Emert (Hightower). Edith was the beloved wife and best friend of her one and only love of 54 years, the late Harold C. Stull Jr. She married Harold on February 16, 1957. Edith chose a career in Nursing while Harold enlisted in the Air force and was stationed in Japan for the first year of their marriage. They raised three children, two sons and a daughter.
After several years of Nursing, Edith left her career to stay home with her children as they became older but was always very active in her church. At one point becoming the Director of Woman’s Ministries at First Christian Church of Palmdale. She spoke of having many fond memories of the time she had there, as well as the people she knew and met. Edith loved to plant and had a beautiful rose garden in her Palmdale home and was creating another in her home in Bakersfield. She also had a huge heart for animals and had several over the years from horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and even turtles, it was quite a menagerie.
She will be sorely missed and survived by her children: Michael Stull, Dawn Fritz (Stull), daughter-in-law Melinda Stull, grandchildren: Shelby Clark (Stull), Blayne, Stull, Cassidy Feathers (Stull), Madison Stull, great-grandchildren: Korbin Clark and Dallas Clark. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold Stull Jr., her eldest son, Mark Stull, her granddaughter Shawnee Stull, her son-in-law, Robert Fritz, and many beloved pets along the way.
