Dorothy June Fleming

June 19, 1924-February 9, 2011

June was born in Bristow, Oklahoma to James Everett and Artie Elizabeth Ledgerwood, and passed from this life at her home in Edison, California on February 9, 2011.

June was proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Perry “Buster” Aust and great-great granddaughter Taylor Kirkley. She is survived by her current husband Corb Fleming, her daughters Betty Campbell and Linda Mettler, grandchildren Tammy Armstrong and husband Marvin, Jariann Hudson and husband Jack, Eric Salter and wife Christa and Donal Mettler. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, Joshua Kirkley, Marvin Armstrong III, Carl Armstrong, Ami Armstrong, Megan Hudson Stephanie Hudson, and Andrew Hudson, great-great grandchildren Wyatt, Madison and McKenzie Kirkley. She leaves behind brother Jack Ledgerwood of Eugene, Oregon and sister Ora Willey of Oakdale, California.

We will all miss her kind heart and her gentle ways. She was truly a Christian in every sense of the word and was a founding member of The Edison First Baptist Church. There was nothing that she would not do for someone in need. The weekly Sunday lunches at Grandma’s house will be greatly missed.
