Leland (“Lee”) J. McLaughlin, 81, of Babylon Village, (formerly of Ithaca, NY), on May 21, 2016. 55 year member and EX Captain in the Babylon Village Fire Department Electric Hose Co. No.4. Proud and honorably decorated U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran and a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves. Member of American Legion Post 94, Babylon, the Korean War Veterans Association, the V.F.W. and A.O.H. Div. 2, Babylon. Physical education teacher and former Athletic Director of Lindenhurst School District for 30 years. Beloved husband of Gaile McLaughlin (nee Dunfee). Loving father of Tara (Joe) Penny, Sean McLaughlin, and Jennifer (Tim) Davis. Adored “Pa” of Ethan and Emma Penny.
