Katherine Nora Monte

LYNCH-MONTE, Katherine of Brightwaters, formerly of Lindenhurst, passed away on Friday, the 27th of May, 2022 at the young age of 53. Beloved daughter of the late John J. Lynch and Cecilia E. Lynch also of Lindenhurst. Loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Katherine leaves behind her husband of 28 years Todd Monte and their three children, Phillip, Kylie, and Steven, Katherine is also survived by her three sisters and one brother, Donna Alexandre, June Plotkin, Mary Jane Budde and John J. Lynch, Jr. Katherine (Kathy) was a registered nurse and just wanted to return to work and care for others. She loved her children dearly and wanted nothing else but to see them through their years here on earth. Katherine was rich in friends and family and was loved by many circles. Born on Christmas Day!! Like it was yesterday,1968!! She loved her retreat in the country, her coffee, dogs, birds, family and friends. She is there now sharing it with her Mom and Dad watching over her loved ones. Memorial Visitations: Wednesday, June 1st from 7-9:30 pm and Thursday, June 2nd from 2-4:30 pm and 7-9:30 pm at Boyd Funeral Home, 448 W. Main St. Babylon, NY. Funeral Mass on Friday, June 3rd at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 210 S. Wellwood Ave., Lindenhurst, NY.
