Cindy Elizabeth Taylor

Cindy Elizabeth Taylor, age 63, passed away on April 20, 2023, in West Islip, NY. She was born on July 11, 1959, in Hempstead, NY, to Marilyn and Charles J. Taylor. Cindy was an introvert who loved to read, but also appreciated spending time with her close family and friends. She had a quick wit and a warm heart and was known for her kind and thoughtful nature. She was a strong and independent woman who will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

Cindy graduated from West Islip High School and was a dedicated employee at Topix Pharmaceuticals in West Babylon, NY, where she worked for 13 years with great diligence and excellence.

Cindy's love for literature was only surpassed by her devotion to her family and friends, who will cherish her memory forevermore. She is survived by her daughter, Kristen-Lynne Crescenzo, and nephew, Charles A. Taylor. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Taylor, brother, Charles C. Taylor, and father, Charles J. Taylor.

The services for Cindy Elizabeth Taylor will take place at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home located at 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm, and a small mass service will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11 am.

We mourn the loss of Cindy Elizabeth Taylor, a beloved daughter, mother, aunt, and friend. May she rest in peace.

A visitation for Cindy will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A visitation will occur Friday, April 28, 2023, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A prayer service will occur Friday, April 28, 2023, at 8:00 PM. A prayer service will occur Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM. A private cremation will occur.
