Anthony S. Procida, Sr., 71, of West Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on Friday, January 19, 2024. Beloved partner of Kevin. Devoted father of Anthony S. Procida, Jr. and Christina M. Procida-Rush. Loving brother of Mario Procida, Robert Procida, and Sal Procida. Cherished uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Anthony was a court officer in the Suffolk County Court System, and later on, a security guard at S. Ocean Middle School. He was passionate about landscaping his backyard, while lovingly complaining, but selflessly was there to lend a hand to anyone in need. Anthony tirelessly volunteered at Island Harvest Food Bank and was a role model in his courageous battle against Leiomyosarcoma. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Friday, January 26, 2024, 2-4:30 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024, St. Joseph's RC Church, Babylon.
