He graduated from Trinity Valley High School in Fort Worth and St. Edward's University in Austin. Will was an avid outdoorsman, grill master, Boy Scout leader, and Longhorn fan. He was loved by all for his charismatic personality, sense of humor, and gentle nature. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children, William Roland Newton, III (Chap), Ava Rose Newton, Emma Ellis, and Maddie Ellis; his wife, Beth Ellis Newton; siblings, Marilou Newton Salmon and Stewart Newton; nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 3003 Northland Drive, Austin, TX 78757.
