Violet D. Jackson Violet D. Jackson, age 88, of Austin, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2005. She was born in Pflugerville, Texas, on January 9, 1917 to Charlie and Artie Morgan. She is preceded in death by her husband R. B. Jackson; brothers, John, Gilbert, Pierce and Woodrow Morgan; sisters, Callie and Jewel. She is survived by her daughter Gay Bennett and husband Mark; son William Clay Solomon; sister Ruby Gunn; grandson, Justin Price and wife Shirley; great-granddaughters, Kylie and Alexis Price. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm on Friday, January 14, 2005, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home.
