Troy G. Bennett, (T-Bone), passed away on July 16, 2008. He was born on October 9, 1931 in Austin, Texas. He graduated from Austin High School in 1950. He wed Shirley Marie Anderson on July 27, 1951, and were together 45 years. Troy was a proud member of I.B.E.W. - L.U. 520 for 57 years. He loved to work with his hands and enjoyed his days on the jobsite and always had a project at home to work on. Troy was a hard working and honest man. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. Troy and Sallie Bennett. Troy is survived by two sons, Jeffery Troy Bennett and Matthew Gordon Bennett. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 20, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 21, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
