Thomas Lesley Mahoney

Thomas Lesley Mahoney, 44, of Austin, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 1, 2024. He was born on November 2, 1979 in Tampa, Florida to his mother, Susan Ellen Fullerton Mahoney. From a very young age, Thomas was gifted with a beautiful singing voice and had the ability to sight sing. He was a long time choir member and parishioner of the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. He graduated from ITT Technical Institute with an Associate Degree of Applied Science where he majored in Networking. Thomas worked many years at Secured Documents Inc as a secured document destroyer. He enjoyed taking photos of himself and of classic cars. Thomas was very active and would walk three to six miles a day. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Thomas is preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Fullerton.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Mahoney; sister, Laura Kathleen Weld; aunts, Leslie Ann Fullerton, Gail Marie Fullerton, Nancy Carol Fullerton, and Linda Joan Fullerton; uncle, Richard Allen Fullerton; two cousins; and special friends.

A visitation for Thomas will be held Monday, August 12, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Dr, Austin, Texas 78749. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4800 Convict Hill Rd, Austin, Texas 78749. Graveside services to follow in Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
