Tamara Frances Colorado

“Tamara Frances Colorado born April 22nd, 1967, to Tomas and Blanche Colorado, and middle sister to Lucinda and Tomas Junior, passed on April 19th, 2023. Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, she left an indelible mark on all her friends and loved ones. Tamara was as bright and witty as she was devoted and loyal.

Showing an aptitude for education, it is no surprise she graduated with honors from The Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania. In her professional career, she most recently worked as Vice President of Oppenheimer Funds and previously as a Controller at Microsoft.

Open to new experiences and adventure, Tamara inspired so many with her world travels from the Great Wall of China, visiting Mount Everest, hiking in Costa Rica, inviting friends and family to visit her in New York City, and taking trips with friends and family across the globe.

A friend of the animals, she loved volunteering at Austin Pets Alive! and adopted and fostered numerous cats and kittens throughout her life.

Gone but never forgotten, Tamara is survived by her mother, Blanche Colorado, sister, Lucinda Colorado, brother, Tomas Colorado, nephews, Anthony Colorado, Taylor Colorado, Jonathan Cartmill and nieces, Bianca Daneshmand, Kiana Daneshmand, and Madison Colorado and her two cats, Lively and Sake
