Stephen was a graduate of Austin High School class of 1980. He met the love of his life, Phuong Tran in 1983 and they were married on December 28, 1985 in Austin. Stephen attended Southwest Texas and graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
Stephen was a member of the Porsche Club of America, and loved to hunt and fish. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and compassionate man.
Stephen is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Thornton.Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Phuong Thornton; daughter, Kelly R. Thornton; mother, Pat Thornton and step-father, Gary Moore; brother, Daniel B. Thornton and wife Lisa; nieces, Madeline and Allyson and nephew, Seth and other loving family members and friends.
A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Memorial Chapel, 6300 W. William Cannon Dr.
