Stephanie was born on April 13th, 1968 in Houston to Bill Clark and Sherry Wallace. She graduated from Katy Taylor high school in 1986. She was an iconic high volume equity trader at Block Trading where she was featured on NBC and international media. She had the unique ability to work effectively under intense pressure and thrived on it. It was at Block Trading that she met her husband, Jeff, and they later had a beautiful daughter, Alexandra, in 2001. Stephanie later became a residential real estate agent in Houston, receiving the Rookie of the Year award in 2001, her first year at Greenwood King. She most recently held her license at Amerisource Realty where she was known for her persistence and can-do attitude.
Stephanie was an advocate for women's rights in business and an avid animal lover. Steph, as she was known to most, was full of life, adventure and energy. Her happy place was being out in the country with her daughter, Alex, friends and her dog, Cowboy. Steph had a signature smile that never met a stranger, making friends everywhere she went and she always treated everyone the same. The love of her life was her daughter Alexandra Storey Burke, who she cherished her time with and doted on to all. Many of their adventures included fishing trips, spa visits, days in the Texas Hill Country and exploring The Heights.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Houston on April 30th from 5pm - 9pm at Nundini Chef’s Table, 500 North Shepherd Dr., Suite B, Houston, Texas 77007.
She is survived by her daughter, Alexandra Burke; parents Bill Clark and Sherry and Tim Corum; sisters Kristen Clark Nix and her husband Lee, Lauren Clark Snyder and Tanya Harris; Aunt Linda Moulton.
