Occasionally I would Google Robert’s name because I was afraid when something happened to him, there would be no one to notify me. Today it happened. What can I say about a man who meant so much to me. Employer for eight years, a friend for over thirty. I would see him at conventions every year and we would always sit and catch up, laugh together, reminisce and I would always leave reminded of how much I truly loved this man, how he had helped me grow, not only as a person but in the education field. He taught me how to do it right, how students were first, how to run a school with integrity. I carried his beliefs until the day I retired, still in the education field. Thank you Robert for being my friend, often times my confident, my mentor and someone who always made my days brighter!!!!!  

Mr. Holt was a very happy joyful man that lived a great life. He will be truly missed but God saw fit to give him his wings so that he can now rest in the arms of Jesus. We at the Horizon Worship Center in RoundRock where Billy Hines is our Pastor will all miss this angel of light but we know the journey through the steps of our life's destiny & dreams seems Iike just a moment in time but in God that same time is eternity. Mr. Robert Holt you will be truly missed but never forgotten.

My thoughts and prayers for all the Holt family. Mr. Holt will truly be missed. He was one of a kind with his quick  wit, infectious laugh, and funny sense of humor. He was not only my ex boss but was a good friend for almost 40 years. God really did break the mold when he made him. So many great memories and stories..... Rest In Peace “the Big R. C.”

In addition to Mr. Holt being such an intellectual business  individual, his love of life and desire to live was bigger than life itself.  
I was fortunate to have experienced a few outings with family since my teenage years, and there was always grandeur  and so much fun to each one of those throughout the years.  He will be missed.

My time with Mr. Holt was very special. He gave me an opportunity at a young age to help with collections and retention. I will never forget the lessons he taught me during my 8 years of service for Mr. Holt. Some days were harder than others working next to this man, but, the lessons and foundation he gave me I will cherish for a lifetime. Austin is lucky to have a man that helped educate in very important trades to help make Austin a great place to live. Thank you, Mr. Holt. Until we meet again, Fly High! With much love and respect. 

Sending my condolences to the Holt family.  Mr. Holt was always an inspiration to all those who came into his path.  He spoke fondly of his family.  He was a very gracious and giving person .  He helped many students who were struggling time and time again.  And for that.... Mr. Holt, you will be missed.

Rest easy Mr. Holt. Probably the first person to see past my surface and give me an opening into my better future. He was a good man, a good boss, and most importantly, he was fun to be around...always laughing and smiling. We will always be thankful.

I remember my time with Mr. Holt fondly and will always look back on our memories with gratitude and reverence. He will certainly be missed by many and I send my condolences to his family. 

Mr. Holt was a good man and a great employer. One of the best. He will be missed.

Mr. Holt was the first person I met  24 years ago when I moved from Wichita KS to Austin to work at one of his schools.  I will miss his joking around and laughter.

My best friend from childhood through college years. I felt I was part of the Holt family and Robert felt the same about mine. I have so many memories of our friendship.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Holt family. I know Robert was loved and respected by so many.
