
I extend my heartfelt sympathy to the Ruiz family.  May those precious memories of your dear loved one Richard be foremost in your hearts and minds along with this wonderful promise that Jesus made at John 5:28,29.   Again, my sincere condolences.



My Pappasito, as I sit here with a broken heart & think about all the awesome memories we have one day dad I'll be able to understand why you were taken away from us so soon & unexpectedly. I know you don't want us grieving over you, and only time will heal. Just know dad we love you, your memory will forever live on & nobody will ever be able to fill your shoes. You've made such an impact on peoples lives with your words of wisdom, listening ear and shoulder to lean on. Today proved it. You were such an awesome person. I know you're smiling down on us now, kissing us on our foreheads, telling us you love us. You'll forever be in my heart Pappasito. Love you Rooz 



I was saddened to hear of Richard's untimely death.  I knew him at Meals on Wheels and More where I am a volunteer in one of the organization's programs, Mike's Place.  He was always ready and willing to help us with any needs at Mike's Place especially mechanical needs.  He always came with an easy smile and a quiet manner that communicated his willingness to help in any way possible.  I send my sincere sympathy to his family.  I know he will be greatly missed.



I am so sorry for your loss. Richard will be greatly missed. When I worked with him at MOWAM he was always cheerful. We usually got to work about the same time, early! If I was working alone in the west building he would always come check on me. He was always whistling. I don't know very many people who are so cheerful at 6 am. MOWAM will not be the same without him.  My prayers are with you. May God comfort you and give you strength.

There aren't enough words to describe how great of a man you are I was proud to call you my daddy. I wish this was a bad dream and it's not someday I'll understand why this happened and learn to smile because I know that is what you would want me to do. All I can do is look back on memories I had with you and I know you'll always be right by my side every step of the way. This isn't goodbye it's I'll see you later daddy just like how it's always been. I love you my rock, my knight in shiny armor but most of all my best friend may you sleep in peace and forever in my heart you will be deeply missed love always and forever your Shelly bear 



Even though we can't see a reason for what has happened, we can have faith that there is a reason for His plan. 
When someone departs from this earth they truly never leave, they are still alive in our hearts and in our minds, through us, they live on.
