Ramon “Ray” Ernest Griego was loved dearly and will be missed by his wife, Janice Jean Griego, of 45 years, and his two beloved sons, Christopher Ray and Jonathan Ray. The loves of his life were his three granddaughters, Lainey, Lucy, and Lily, whom all brought him many hours of joy and happiness. They are the daughters of Jonathan and Jeannie Griego. Ray is also survived by his brother, Nick Griego, and two sisters, Mary Sena and Bertha Griego.
Ray loved his family and enjoyed spending time at home with them. He was very active and enjoyed working out at the gym, walking, working in the yard, dabbling in the stock market, reading, traveling, attending his three respite groups, spending time with his three granddaughters and helping his wife, Janice, around the house. Ray also worked as a marketing analyst for Exxon Mobile for 35 years.
The Griego family would like to thank everyone who has given their love and support. A celebration of Ray's life will be scheduled in Austin on Wednesday, June 3rd, at 2pm, at the Bethany United Methodist Church, 10010 Anderson Mill Road.

Ray lived his life by the "Serenity Prayer":
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
"A Beautiful Life"
A beautiful life
That came to an end,
He died as he lived,
Everyone's friend.
In our hearts,
A memory
Will also be kept,
Of ones we loved,
And will never forget.
