Patricia was born on June 24, 1929 to parents Virgil and Edith Taylor. She graduated from Kermit High School in 1946. Patricia was a great family woman and a loving wife. She married Raymond L. Smith in Kermit Texas and the couple had two children together including three miscarriages.
Patricia was a dedicated pastor’s wife who was deeply involved in the churches for the majority of her life. She enjoyed serving the Lord in the country churches. Her family and friends will always remember her as a humble Christian wife, mother and generous person.
She is proceeded in death by her sons: Alan Wayne and Mark Stephen.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 70 years, Raymond Smith of Austin, and her brother Leon Blakeney of Minnesota.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 A.M on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Patricia’s life.
