It's been a year today since you've left us and have gone to a better place, a year where you haven't been forgotten and have been deeply missed. 

I keep the memories we made close to heart and am reminded of you in some way everyday. 

You had an impact on my life that no one else could have done, teaching me to live life to the fullest with no regrets.

I remember when I first heard the news. I had just gotten to my first class of the day when a friend told me. 

At first, I didn't know what to think. I was in shock...I'm sure we all were. 

Nothing could've prepared me for that kind of news. I left school 20 minutes after classes began. There was no way I was going to make it through the day. 

Losing you had such a great impact on us Nico. You were l...oved by many friends and family members. You still are. 

I constantly think about the summer of 2011. We spent just about every day together for the exception of the weekends hahha. Those are memories I will always cherish. 

Thank you for being such a huge part of my life. You helped me through so much. And I know you're still watching over me :) 

You will never be forgotten ?

Was at the gym today, saw this guy...literally had a heart attack. 

I thought it was you, was wearing soccer cleats and a soccer jersey. 

He just looked up and smiled when I about made the loudest noise dropping the weights.

We all miss you Nico.

December 21, 2011 was the last time I saw your wonderful face in person.  

I was in a car accident a few days before and I wasn't feeling well so you came to hang out with me.  You picked me up from my house.  We got drinks from Sonic, and just drove all around town for hours and hours.  

It meant a lot to me that you drove 20 miles out of your way just to help me feel better.  

You were my best friend then and you still are.  Not a day goes by that I don't think about you.  

I know you're watching over me and i can't thank you enough for that.  

I hope you have a Merry Christmas up in heaven.
