Neal Hudson

Neal was born in Travis County November 3, 1935. He married Frances Holmes in 1956 with whom he had 3 children. Nothing was more important to Neal than his family. He served in the Air Force for 9 years, and then settled back on a family property with his parents and brothers. He worked with his brothers laying rock until retirement, and lived next door to them until near the time of his death. He was an avid genealogist, and was very proud to be a descendent of the original settlers of Hudson Bend. He was also a talented gardener who spent hours meticulously maintaining his vegetable garden and orchards for decades without fail.

Neal is preceded in death by his beloved wife Frances Hudson, his brother Tasker Hudson, and his parents, Wiley and Nelethye Hudson.

He is survived by his three devoted children, Susan Wilie and husband Eldon, Tim Hudson and wife Elena, Mike Hudson and wife Teresa, grandchildren Rachel Johnson and husband Justin, Nesto Ruedaz, and Mona Vasquez, and great-grandchildren Lucas and Sydney Johnson and Gabriel Robledo.

Graveside service will take place at 1pm Wednesday at Teck Cemetery, Travis Co., Texas.
