Nathan Edward Allen’s journey started in Austin, Texas on May 14th, 1997. He was born to parents Chris Allen and Hollie Costello. He was loved and treasured by his younger brother Cameron; Grandparents - Grandma Rosemary, Nonnie Miki, Nana Sherrie, Grandpa Rick; Uncles - Jeb, Will, Cody, Richard, Matt, Gordon, Matt, Glenn Ray, and Eddy; Aunts - Maya, Larkie, Tabitha, Sarah, Jessie, and Katie, Vicky, Becky, and Marta; Cousins - Nicholas, David, Nicky, Tutie, Isabel, Jill, Maya, Maverick, John, Xela, Jonathan, Jackson, Joash, Emily, and Austin; and countless friends that were considered family.
He made everything better with his sarcastic sense of humor and stubbornness. Every family gathering was made more lively by his presence. When we think of Nato, we remember fishing, wrestling, how he owned and managed Dance Across Texas, beach trips, sodas, french fries, destroying pinatas, cruises, his love for collecting things, and long drawn out birthday songs.
Nathan had a special relationship with his dad, Chris, although hard sometimes they had an unyielding bond and idolized each other. No matter what Nathan threw at Chris he never left his side and is heartbroken at his loss. Chris is so proud to have been his dad.
He was strong, brave, witty and loved beyond measure. Nathan was the one-of-a-kind, precious piece of the puzzle of his big crazy family. His smile, laugh, cuddles, energy, and presence will be missed dearly. His family is thankful for 21 years with him, but looks forward to seeing him again in eternity.
He battled and defied the odds of Cystic Fibrosis for 21 years, before falling ill with pneumonia in early May 2019. Nathan’s journey ended on May 7th, 2019.
Always loved, forever missed, never forgotten.
