He is survived by his mother Helen, brothers Mark Pearson and Charlie Pearson Jr., sisters Pam Laughlin, Kimerly Mirick, and Bonnie Moss, nephews Patrick Mirick and Joshua Alvarado, and nieces Rebekah Moss, Caroline Pearson, April Moss, Michelle Moss, Deborah Huslage.
A visitation for Matthew will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar, Austin, Texas 78752. A graveside service will occur Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Fiskville Cemetery, 1037 Fiskville Cemetery Rd, Austin, Texas 78753. Services will be officiated by Buddy Hyden.
