Our beloved Mother, Mary Jean Freeman, 90, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012 in Austin surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 12, 1922 in Valliant, Oklahoma to Case Cilus Enoch and Effie Gertrude Dillon Enoch.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Edward Freeman; her parents; brother, C.C. Enoch and wife Ann; sisters, Alban Goss and husband Ted, Lois Cook and husband Cotton, Jo Mullins and husband Dock, Zula Odom and husband L.L., and Rose Steward and husband Billy. Mrs. Freeman will be sadly missed by her son, William D. Freeman and wife Pam; daughters, Sherry H. Frazier and husband Kenneth H. and Judy L. Meaux and husband, Edward J.; her grandchildren, Carrie Harris and husband Alan, Kenny Frazier and wife Talaya, Laurie Croston, Lance Freeman and wife Nicole, Timmy Meaux and wife Amanda, Candie Nelson and husband Jim, and Tiffany Harris and husband Chad; great-grandchildren, Case Harris, Talaya Ann Frazier, John Nelson, Carly Croston, Cole Harris, Hudson Harris, Holly Croston, Cheyanna Frazier, Catherine Harris, Kenneth Nelson, Anna Freeman, Sarah Freeman, Tessa Harris, Emmie Meaux, and Macie Meaux; brothers, Odell Enoch and wife Fern, Otey B. Enoch and wife Betty, and Walter Enoch and wife Diana; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, July 23, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 24, 2012 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Dr. Ken Baldwin officiating. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Houston National Cemetery.
