Margaret truly lived and showed the love of Jesus. She was deeply involved and served in her church as a childcare worker in the church nursery. She was always incredibly kind and caring and was always there to brighten the lives of others.
Margaret will forever be remembered by her children, John Smith, Jana Preston, Lori Perez (James) and Todd Preston; grandchildren, Christopher Porter (Stephanie), Randy Porter, Amy Auchey, Richard Porter (Ashley), Brannon Preston (Brianna), Jennifer Auchey and Sarah Cleveland (Jonathan); 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Argie and Mason Moore; her husband, Lyman Eugene Preston; her sister, Mary Gailya Moore and her son, Louis Scot Preston.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 W. William Cannon Drive. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
