Linda Gayle Troutman

Linda is survived by her husband, Walter Troutman, her children, Steven Wood Jr. and wife Laura, Stephanie Lockaby and husband Jason, Elizabeth Page, Chad Troutman, Terry and her husband David, her grandchildren, Trey, Mia, Christopher and wife Kristy, Emily, Hannah, Staton, Jason and wife Deanna, Janet and husband Chris and her great grandchild, West and her siblings Laura Ellis and Tommy Henry.

Linda was born to James and Gayle Henry on March 10, 1957 in Burnet, TX. She was the first of four children.

As a lifelong Texan, she enjoyed playing the violin, two-stepping, country music, softball and gardening. Each year she would send pictures of the beautiful lilies that bloomed around her back yard trees.

She was proud of her Accredited Customer Service Representative title at Hertel Insurors Group where she worked for the past 27 years with her beloved coworker Ann and Managing Partners, Landon and Bill.

Linda spent most of her life taking care of others. She was the strongest, most selfless woman. She took pride in cleanliness and organization. She was always there when you needed her. Consistent, loving, full of grace and funny. She will be dearly missed by so many.

A visitation for Linda will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78752. A graveside service will occur Friday, February 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Liberty Hill Cemetery, 16101 TX-29, Liberty Hill, Texas 78642.

Serving as pallbearers are Christopher, Trey, Jason Ramm, Staton, Chris and Edward.
