Katherine Helmcamp Miller, Trinka, passed away on February 4, 2022 in Austin Texas at the age of 86. Trinka was dearly loved by her husband James Ronald and their children Ronald Jeffery and Robin Elise.
Trinka is preceded in death by her parents Herbert William Helmcamp and Martha Amanda Jones, and husband James Ronald Miller. Trinka is survived by her son Jeff (Linda) Miller of Breckenridge Colorado and Daughter Robin (Stephen) Lenertz of Austin Texas. Trinka is also survived by her grandson Christopher (Karissa) Lenertz of Austin Texas and brother-in-law Lanny (Sylvia) Miller of Arcadia California.
Trinka attended Sugar Land schools and one year at Baylor University. She married James Ronald Miller on August 21, 1954 in her home town of Sugar Land. Trinka enjoyed painting, quilting, reading, crafting, scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with family and her cats. Both Trinka and Ron enjoyed their time with Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Austin Texas.
She will be remembered for being a loving mother and grandmother.
A memorial service will be held at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church 5226 W. William Cannon Drive, Austin, Texas 78749. Wednesday February 23 at 2:00pm.
