Judy Lynn Maldonado, age 41, passed away quietly in her sleep on Thursday, August 26, 2010. Judy was born in Austin on January 12, 1969 to Jim and Jan Cornett. She is preceded in death by her paternal and fraternal grandparents.
She was a graduate of Anderson High School where she enjoyed music and the band. She married Emiterio Maldonado and had 3 beautiful daughters and a handsome son. Judy was an employee of
Williamson County for several years and left there due to many different health problems. She also drove for EAT OUT IN whenever she could. She loved being the Boy Scout leader for Pack #1 at Pillow Elementary and she loved singing in the praise choir at Crestview United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Anjelina, Adrianna and Allyssa; son, Alexz; grandson Makhai and son-in-law, Juan; parents Jim and Jan Cornett; brothers, Jimmy and Bobby; sister, Shirley; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening on Saturday, the 28th of August, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd. in Austin.
The funeral service is to be conducted at six o’clock in the evening on Sunday, the 29th of August, at Crestview United Methodist Church, 1300 Morrow in Austin, where the Rev. Linda Elford is to officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her honor to Crestview United Methodist Church, 1300 Morrow, Austin, TX 78757.
