Jose Fernando Gonzales

Jose was a native Austin-ite. He attended McCallum High School and followed in the footsteps of his father, a local business owner of Gonzales Concrete. His craft took him to many parts of the U.S. such as Florida, Arkansas, Connecticut, Tennessee, and Virginia. Jose was an outdoors enthusiast and loved fishing, hunting, a cold beer, and a good football game. He enjoyed spending time at his favorite fishing holes around Austin and taking trips to the coast for deep-sea fishing with family. Jose had a strong work ethic and he was the life of the party. He was always cutting up and always telling jokes. He greeted you with kisses, a big smile, and tight hugs.

Jose is survived by his three sons; Joe (Adella), Samuel, and Matthew, two grandchildren; Mya and Raphael, his parents; Fernando C. Gonzales and Isidora Turrubiarte Gonzales, his siblings; Yvette(Rene) Rangel, Rhejeanne (Erick) Bermudez, Isaac (Sylvia), Michelle and Marissa along with many nephews, nieces, cousins, tias, tios and his faithful four legged companion, Roxy.
